Founded in 1969, Farmhouse Deli Foods is a traditional English delicatessen with a proud history of serving Gloucester, Cheltenham, and the surrounding Gloucestershire area. Family-run for over five decades, we specialise in home-cooked hams, home-cured bacon, and our award-winning handmade sausages — crafted with skill, passion, and only the finest ingredients.

Our signature product, the famous Gloucester sausage, is a true favourite among locals and visitors alike. Every two weeks, we produce almost a metric tonne of sausages, with our expert butchers hand-linking over a million each year. Whether you take them home to cook, or enjoy one fresh from our deli in a warm crusty baguette, they’re packed with flavour you won’t forget.

But we’re more than just sausages — our delis in Gloucester and Cheltenham offer freshly prepared lunches, hearty breakfasts, homemade pies, crisp salads, and artisan breads, alongside a tempting selection of locally sourced produce. Everything we serve is made with care, delivered with a smile, and rooted in our commitment to great food and great service.

Collect in Store - Shop Online, Pick Up In-Store!

Enjoy the convenience of shopping online with the flexibility of picking up your order at your preferred store location. Our "Collect in Store" service allows you to browse our full range of products online, make your purchase, and collect your items in-store at a time that suits you—saving you delivery costs and time. We do not ship, or deliver.

We offer the option of a quick and easy store collection at Southgate Street, Gloucester or High street, Cheltenham with no minimum order. This will usually be ready within 24 hours of placing the order.

    We opened up our Cheltenham shop back in 2012 with the hope of bringing a well known Gloucester food joint to its neighbouring town. The outcome was beyond our dreams and we hope to keep feeding our lovely Cheltenham customers for many more years. 

  • 61 Northgate Street, Gloucester

    As the Farmhouse HQ, our Northgate street shop is where the magic happens and all of our homemade sausages, pies, sausage rolls & scotch eggs are made. We have traded on Northgate street for over 50 years now, originally setting up business in 1969 in a unit across the road to where we are today. We now only produce product here, no longer trading, we have moved all trade to our Southgate Street location.
